Coffee Afternoon

Summer greetings, I hope you are all well.

We are excited to finally be opening our doors again for a coffee afternoon on Thursday the 13th of August 1-3pm.

As numbers will be limited due to social distancing please book your place by calling the church on 01482 225469 or by replying to this email as soon as possible.

We are doing this coffee afternoon as a trial, to see if we can safely open up again for other events so please bear with us, we want to keep visitors and volunteers safe.

Please follow the risk assessment guidelines which will be displayed at the church and it hopefully goes without saying, that if you're not feeling well on the day then please do not attend.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Best wishes

There has been a part of Denmark in Hull for nearly 150 years - but it is in danger of going

From Hull Daily Mail

Ny daglig leder/New manager

From 1 August, Charlotte Theill s employed as the general manager of The Danish Church. It will be Charlotte's job to lead the house into a new era where there is no residing priest anymore. This means that the house will still be a gathering place for people with relations to the Nordic countries. In addition, the house will in future be available to a greater extent to local activities organized by people and associations in Hull. It can e.g. be meetings, lectures, music activities and private parties.

Med masser af fællessang

About 100 people joint a successfull choir event sunday afternoon. 6 choirs from Hull made wonderful performances. Some of them even with a bit of singing in Danish. And they all made the audience joining in with their singing.
